Congrats on your acceptance! Always great to see a fellow writer continue making their mark, especially in this lonely choice of vocation. Keep on keeping on, Amanda!
Also, ‘don’t self-reject’ is such a great reminder. If my mind had its way, it’d unpublish or unsend all my work. But better to let the market decide, eh? Thanks for this post!

Thank you! And thank you for the comment. Writing can definitely be a lonely and difficult occupation. But if you can find a caring community of other writers to join, it makes it all worthwhile. Good luck to you in your own writing adventure!

It is very important to never give up. Sometimes, the moment we feel like giving up is just when victory is at our doorsteps.
Congrats, Amanda.

Thank you! And yes, I almost gave up completely last year, and then I received my first short story acceptance. It was a good sign for me to keep going.
